Staking is the process of locking your tokens to support a blockchain network and earn rewards in return. It’s an excellent way to generate passive income while contributing to network security and operations.
With GM² Social, staking is simple and accessible through the Artemis integration. You can:
Stake Metis tokens directly from your mobile app.
Earn rewards effortlessly.
Manage your staking activities anytime, anywhere.
Follow these steps to stake your Metis tokens:
Access Staking:
Log in to your wallet.
Navigate to the Liquidity Center tab and select Artemis Finance.
Stake Your Metis Tokens:
Enter the amount of Metis you wish to stake.
Click Stake, preview the transaction, and confirm via your wallet.
To redeem rewards:
Open the app and go to the Redeem section under Artemis Finance.
Approve the tokens for redemption if your Allowance is insufficient.
Enter the amount of Metis to redeem, click Redeem, and confirm the transaction.
After redeeming rewards:
Go to the Withdraw section under Artemis Finance.
If required, approve the transaction amount.
Click Withdraw to finalize and add rewards to your wallet balance.
If no lock-up period applies, you can unstake tokens at any time through the app by following the staking process in reverse.
Staking is generally safe, but it can be affected by market volatility and other blockchain-specific risks. It’s essential to research and understand the staking process before committing large amounts.
